Online platform for digitally managing consents and contracts in a hospital

Description

Our platform enables hospitals to digitally manage all patient consents and contracts across their facilities. The system covers the complete process from admission agreements (“Behandlungsverträge”) and informed consents (“Aufklärungsbögen”) to the handling of external documents such as rehabilitation (“REHA”) applications. All forms can be completed and signed electronically, either on-site using tablets at the admission desk or remotely by patients prior to their visit.

The solution connects all relevant parties – patients, legal guardians or persons with POA, physicians, administrative staff and external service providers – ensuring that every required consent or contract is available digitally and securely. Patient data is pre-filled automatically through deep integration with the hospital's existing Hospital Information System (HIS) or electronic health record (EHR), reducing manual data entry and administrative effort.

The platform (powered by our electronic signature technology) supports multi-party signature workflows, allowing multiple stakeholders to review and sign documents in a defined sequence. Advanced electronic signatures ensure full legal validity and data security. Once signed, documents are stored automatically in the hospital's digital archive and linked to the patient's electronic health record.

The implementation has transformed the consent and contract management process throughout the hospital.
