Supporting compliance with the Payment Services Directive (PSD2)

Description

The Payment Services Directive (PSD) represents a set of rules and regulations at a European level. Every member state has to implement these rules in its country through its regulator.

When the scope of the PSD was extended and further changes were made to the existing regulation, the new PSD2 included several “breaking changes” for the entire financial industry throughout Europe.

In various consulting assignments for various financial institutions and banks across Europe, we helped with the interpretation of the PSD2.

We identified required changes and shaped a target picture, including a roadmap on how to get it all done on time. We designed new processes, controls and security measures and took the lead on product management for the implementation.

Our activities included consulting assignments for customers in Austria, France, Germany, Luxembourg, Norway, Poland, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom.
